Explore the main prehistoric sites of North Wales

This tour will explore the main prehistoric sites of north Wales, one of the richest environments for investigating the Neolithic and prehistoric period in Europe. The area is studded with impressive and atmospheric remains of a mysterious age. We will visit stunning stone burial chambers, lofty defended stone settlements and striking stone circles engaging with social change over a period of some three thousand years.

Effort

Some visits will entail a moderate hill-walk, all will involve hands-on investigation of the distant past in the stunning scenery of Eryri (Snowdonia)
